Alpha course starts 28 Sept

ALPHA is a place to explore the Christian faith together with others. It’s a series of videos and conversations focused on the questions of life, faith, and meaning. Each session includes a time to connect with others, hear a talk on some element of faith, and then a chance for people to share their own questions and perspectives with the group. If you want to just listen that’s ok too. We create a non-judgmental and open environment where it’s easy for anyone who is atheist, skeptic, or simply curious about faith to explore questions of life with new friends.

Who is Alpha for?

Anyone who is curious, skeptical or simply wants to explore the Christian faith further can join this journey.

What to expect?
The course is FREE and includes a light meal. It starts on Sunday 28th September and takes place every Sunday from 6-7.30pm for a period of 10 weeks. The course starts with eating together, followed by a video and informal discussion about the topics touched on in the video. You can participate or simply listen. There is no pressure.

What topics are covered?
Alpha asks us to consider some critical questions about life and to explore why Christians believe that Jesus is the answer.
- Is there more to life than this?
- What is my purpose?
- What is the point of this existence?
- Who is Jesus
- Where am I heading when life ends?

Planning your Visit

A Warm Hello

The following information is if you are planning a visit, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday morning. We are friendly and look forward to seeing you!

Where and When

We meet at the Church Building (details here) for our Sunday Service starting at 10:30am. When you arrive, you will be greeted at the door by someone on our Welcome Team.

We serve tea, coffee and biscuits after the service.  It is a great way to meet people, or simply take time to find your bearings. All refreshments are free.

Accessibility: There is wheelchair access, and a sound loop for anyone who needs it. Please let one of the Welcome Team know on your arrival and they will help you to get set up. There are disabled toilets in the main foyer.

Who can Come

Anyone!

What about my kids?

We welcome children and they will be catered for.

Other Ways of Getting Connected

Warm Welcome

We welcome everyone from Attleborough and surrounding towns or villages to our weekly Warm Welcome get-together on Tuesdays between 10am and 1pm. This is a great place to connect, make new friends and have fun as we roll out the mat for carpet bowls and haul out the Scrabble, puzzles and games. And of course there will be tea, coffee and biscuits.
